My name is Samantha, and I am the creator of Aussie Tallow, a small business run on my Jersey cow farm in Mount Barker, Western Australia.
Aussie Tallow was initially born from my love for Jersey cows and Jersey cow milk.
I first started using the excess milk to make the most fantastic soaps, I then discovered TALLOW, which is made from an amazing natural bi product called suet which is left over after cows are slaughtered for their meat.
Tallow is the most amazing NATURAL Skin Care Product that nourishes, protects, and heals the skin. It has amazing health benefits from both being eaten and applied topically; it is a forgotten gem that was used for centuries!
Historically, Tallow is an old-fashioned fat. It was the primary fat used for cooking and frying thanks to its unusually high smoke point. Not only for cooking but it was the oil preferred when grandma had cracked heels, or the elbow skin was rough. If the kids had dry skin Tallow called to the rescue.
The 2 products where then married together to make Raw Jersey Cow milk and Tallow soap bars that have only the finest, most NATURAL ingredients used.
All ingredients are sourced locally and can be used safely for the Face, Body, Shaving and even washing your hair for those with even the most sensitive skin.

My range of Tallow Skin Care products were born from my new learned knowledge and love of Tallow. I only make and sell products I use and love myself! and now I've made them available to everyone.
The suet to make the Tallow is sourced from my own and local Grass-Fed steers, only ethical and sustainable farming practices are used. It is then triple purified and rendered.

Your best skin awaits! There is truly nothing that feeds the skin quite like tallow does. Grass-fed Tallow has a nutrient dense fatty acid profile that works particularly well with human skin. It penetrates the skin barrier to deliver its abundant fat-soluble activators. It contains vitamins A, D, E, and K — which are necessary for skin health as well as containing conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
The structure of our cell membranes is made up of approx. 50% saturated fats, which is very similar to the percentage of saturated fatty acids in Tallow. Fatty acids are the building blocks of healthy skin cells, which makes them an important nutrient for skin repair and regeneration.
Tallow deeply moisturizes dry skin, repairs damage, and heals the skin. It soothes Eczema and Rosacea prone skin, chronically dry skin, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, and gives long term anti-aging benefits. It even reduces pore size and brightens the skin. The results are cumulative, and skin keeps getting lovelier with continued use.
Tallow is truly a multi-purpose product: Wonderful for dry, flaky irritated skin; crow’s feet, it works as an under-eye cream, great for neck and décolleté, lip balm, hand, foot, psoriasis, all over body cream, babies, and children’s Eczema.
The suet has been rendered at low temperatures to preserve the integrity of the nutrients and enzymes. Due to its naturally long shelf life, there are no preservatives or chemicals added to any of these Tallow products, they are completely pure and unadulterated.
My Tallow is not made from regular fat trimmings; I only use Grass fed suet which is the purest fat with the highest mineral content.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE CONSISTENCY OF TALLOW CHANGES FROM SUMMER TO WINTER so, just like coconut oil, an unadulterated pure product with no emulsifying agents will be harder in winter, and softer in summer. You can leave your tallow on top of or near a radiator to keep it buttery soft, or scoop some into your hands and warm it before applying.
Keeping it near a heat source will not damage the properties of the Tallow. If your product ever melts from sitting in direct heat for a prolonged period, simply place in a cool area or into the fridge to harden it back up. Products are best stored in a cool place.
My Tallow naturally varies in color from White to Yellow.
Please note that the unscented Tallow products may have a slight beefy smell.
